NC Contractor Academy — Terms of Service

1. Class Registration

By registering for a class, you agree to attend the date and format you selected (Zoom, on-site, or eLearning). Registration confirms a seat in that specific session.

2. NCLBGC Approved Provider

NC Contractor Academy is a Continuing Education provider approved by the North Carolina Licensing Board for General Contractors (NCLBGC). All hours completed through us count toward your annual NC General Contractor CE requirement.

3. Always-Online Access

Every paid registrant receives online access (recording or eLearning version) regardless of the format originally purchased. If you miss a live class, you can complete the same content via the eLearning portal at no extra charge.

4. Minimum Attendance for In-Person Classes

In-person classes require a minimum of 5 paid registrants. If a class doesn't meet minimum, registrants are automatically converted to online access for the same class.

5. NASCLA / Exam Prep

Exam prep classes do not guarantee a passing score. Pass rates depend on individual study effort and exam-day performance. Refer to our Refund Policy for retake guidance.

6. Use of Materials

Course materials are licensed for personal study only. You may not redistribute, resell, or share access credentials.

7. Cancellation by NCCA

If we cancel a class for any reason, you'll receive a full refund OR free transfer to another date.

8. Marketing, Advertising & Your Information

By registering for a class or providing your contact information, you agree that we may contact you about your order, registration, and account — including by email, phone, or text message — at the contact details you provide. With your consent where required, we may also send you marketing and promotional communications, which you can opt out of at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us. Opting out of marketing does not affect order- or registration-related messages.

We advertise on third-party platforms (including Meta/Facebook, Instagram, Google, YouTube, and Reddit) and use their advertising and analytics technologies. We may share certain information, such as a hashed (pseudonymized) version of your email address or phone number, with these platforms to reach existing customers and people with similar interests, to retarget visitors, and to measure the performance of our ads. How we collect, use, and disclose your information — and the choices and opt-out rights available to you — is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
