See It in Action
Four short walkthroughs from the How-To Library inside the student portal. Tap a video to play it.
Your readiness score, your weakest subjects and what to practice next, all on one screen.
Sit the whole exam against the clock, with a pace meter that shows if you're ahead or behind.
Drill a single subject untimed, with the explanation right after every answer.
Race a stopwatch to the right page in your tabbed books, the skill an open-book exam really tests.
Ways to Practice
Full practice exams draw questions to match your exam's PSI content outline, so the mix of subjects is the mix you'll see on test day.
NC Building
90 Q · 200 min
NC Residential
90 Q · 210 min
NASCLA Commercial
115 Q · 304 min
The real NASCLA exam has 125 questions in 330 minutes: 115 scored and 10 unscored pretest questions. The practice exam gives you 115 questions at the same pace. Always check your current PSI Candidate Information Bulletin before you test.
Your exam's full question count on the real clock, scored pass or fail, with a topic-by-topic breakdown of what to study next.
The same timed exam on a screen laid out like the PSI testing software, so test day holds no surprises.
Drill one subject at a time, such as Concrete, Masonry, Carpentry or Business and Law, untimed, with instant feedback.
An open-book speed drill. A stopwatch runs while you find the answer in your tabbed reference book. Aim for about a minute per lookup.
Every question you miss goes on your own review list and stays there until you get it right.
Sample questions from all three exams with no login, so you can judge the quality before you buy.
Built to Actually Teach
Made for contractors who know the work but not always the wording on the exam.
Every question explains why the topic matters, with a plain-English glossary of its terms, without giving the answer away.
See why the right answer is right and why the tempting wrong ones aren't.
Mark how sure you are, then spot the right answers that were really lucky guesses.
One clear "am I ready?" score, plus your accuracy, weak subjects, strengths and progress over time.
A searchable library of hundreds of construction terms, filtered by topic.
Questions and answer choices are shuffled on every attempt, so you learn the material, not the letter.
